GCET or Goa Common Entrance Test 2018 examination date has been now released. GCET 2018 will be held on 8th May (Physics and Chemistry) and 9th May (Mathematics) 2018
. GCET is a state-level entrance examination conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Goa every year.
The examinations is conducted for admission in to Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Homeopathy, Nursing, Architecture and other professional courses in the state of Goa.
Candidates should note that admission in to MBBS, BDS and Degree in Architecture courses will be through NEET and NATA 2018 respectively.
GCET 2018 will include three subjects -physics, chemistry, and mathematics, and the test for each subject will be held separately.
The exam duration of each subject is 120 minutes and each paper will have 75 questions. The total marks is 225, and there is no negative making.
Candidates who qualify GCET 2018 will have to participate in counselling round, which will start tentatively in 3rd week of June.
To participate in GCET 2018 counselling, candidates will have to fill Form B. Candidates will be invited for counselling based on their merit rank.
The result of GCET 2018 will be declared tentatively in 3rd week of May, 2018.
