Question 1 – Solution

Pairing the 1’s in the map given, results in three sets.

Two pair’s of 1’s result in $$B\bar{C}$$ and $$\bar{B}\bar{C}$$

One set of four 1’s results in A

Therefore, $$F = A + B\bar{C} + \bar{B}\bar{C}$$

$$F = A + \bar{C}(B + \bar{B})$$

$$F = A + \bar{C}$$      Since, $$(B + \bar{B} = 1)$$

Thus, the right option is (B)
