Automatic Car Brake Failure Indicator Design

As for road transport and safety scenario is concerned, automatic car brake failure indicator design , accidents are becoming a day to day cause an attempt has been made in this project to reduce such mishaps. The aim is to design and develop a control system based an electronically controlled automatic break failure indicator by using IR Sensor and engine over heating alarm by using heat sensor is called “intelligent vehicle”.
Automatic break failure indicator and engine over heating alarm is consists of the IR sensor circuit, Heat sensor Circuit, Control Unit and frame. The sensor is used to detect the brake wire. There is any disconnection of the brake wire or cutting of any few turns of break wire, the control signal to the alarm unit. Similarly the heat sensor is fixed to the engine and this heat is measured and giving the alarm signal when the engine heat exceeds the set temperature limit.

In our project having the following operation occurs automatically in the vehicle. They are,

  • Engine Over Heating Alarm
  • Automatic Brake Failure Indicator
  • Automatic head Light Dim/Bright Controller

Special safety features have been built into cars for years, some for the safety of car’s occupants only, and some for the safety of others.

Working Operation

Automatic Rain Operated Wiper
Wiper motor is automatically ON during the time of rainfall. The sensor is fixed in the vehicle glass. It senses the rainfall and giving control signal to the control unit. The control unit activates the wiper motor automatically. This operation is called “Automatic rain operated wiper”.

Automatic Head Light Dim/Bright Control

The sensor is fixed in front of the vehicle, so that it senses the any obstacle in front of the vehicle. It senses the obstacle and giving control signal to the control unit. The control unit activates the dim light automatically. This operation is called “Automatic headlight dim/bright control”.
